Hazaribagh National Park
The National Park is the territory of various wild animals. The authority of the park maintain all the amenities for these animals and they are given the full scope to enjoy the freedom in every respect and grow their population.

The sanctuary is 190 sq km and was established in 1954. The sanctuary is home to animals like wild boar, niglai and leopard. The sanctuary is a thick forest area so it’s a safe place for birds to live.

Hazaribagh: with the effort of dig-cum-commandant of the bsf training centre and school, hazaribagh, brigadier onkar singh, for the first time at the local bsf centre, a widow savitri singh, aged 30 and having two minor children, was united in marriage with another bsf jawan arvind naik. the marriage was solemnised at a very impressive function on the makar sankranti day (monday) at a temple located on the bsf campus at meru, about 10-km from here. dig onkar singh and his wife urmila singh performed the “kanyadan” ceremony before an impressive gathering amidst the beats of bsf band and chanting of vedic mantras. briefing newsmen after the marriage ceremony was over, brigadier singh said that savitri’s husband ramesh kumar singh, who belonged to 11th battalion of bsf, had died during operations in kashmir in 1993. his body was taken to his home at motihari where it was cremated with state honours. later, bsf authorities provided savitri singh a job at the bsf canteen at hazaribagh. she was also provided a house in addition to the family pension and entire cost of eductation for the children. on the other hand, arvind naik, the bridegroom who is currently posted at malda in west bengal, lost his wife due to some illness. naik has a minor son. prior to malda arvind was also posted at the 11st battalion of bsf. since 1999, efforts were made to get them united in wedlock so that both could lead a happy life. but, the move could not succeed at that time. recently, renewed efforts were made by the present dig, resulting into marriage being solemnised under the hindu rituals. after the marriage, a reception was hosted by the bsf authorities where the couple was blessed by all the top officials and their family members.
A meeting of Congress legislators, including Chandrashekhar Dubey alias Dadai Dubey and Anant Pratap Dev with Babulal Marandi at his residence in Ranchi appears to have made him rethink his decision.
Now, Marandi is saying that he is not averse to form an alternative government, if the situation so demanded.
State Congress chief Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu and Union minister and Ranchi MP Subodh Kant Sahay too have swung into action to make the best of the JMM’s compulsions. However, they are not forthcoming about their future strategy.

The BJP Parliamentary Board meeting concluded at New Delhi on Friday without any decision on the name of next chief minister of Jharkhand. It was decided that final decision would be taken after consulting the state unit of the party and the alliance partners. State Health Minister Baithnath Ram on Monday informed the Assembly that approval letters have been sent to HEC, Ranchi and SAIL, Bokaro to start medical colleges at Ranchi and Bokaro respectively. About 250 students will be admitted in each medical college, Minister said.
